Position

Partner in the Private Client department dealing with UK and international estate succession trust and tax planning issues. He advises trust companies, high net worth clients including many entrepreneurs and high profile media clients on international tax planning and has particular experience in complex cross border estates and tax planning advising across multiple jurisdictions. He has developed a specialist practice dealing with HMRC enquiries and voluntary disclosures where clients find themselves in direct contract with HMRC.

Is a member of STEP and has authored the chapter on Manx Succession Law in David Hayton’s book European Succession Laws. He is well known on the international lecture circuit having lectured to STEP in Miami, Zurich, Liechtenstein, the BVI and the Cayman Islands.
