Position
Broad-based commercial/general Chancery practice, with a particular emphasis on insolvency and corporate reconstruction; private client – trusts and estates; and company matters. Cases of note: Gotham v Doodes [2007] 1 All ER 527; Halabi v London Borough of Camden [2008] BPIR 370; and Alhamrani v Alhamrani (Royal Court of Jersey, 2007-09). Publications include: ‘Trusts Law’ (1st edition, Palgrave Macmillan 2008); ‘Mediation trustee’s duties in trust disputes’ (‘Trusts & Trustees’ 2008); ‘The Companies Act 2006’ (Solicitors Journal 2007); ‘Re Diplock’ (Ch 11 of ‘Landmark Cases in the Law of Restitution’, Hart Publishing 2006); and ‘Dishonest assistance after Barlow Clowes’ (Solicitors Journal 2005). Also an assistant editor of Schaw Miller and Bailey’s ‘Personal Insolvency Law and Practice’ (4th ed, Lexisnexis 2008).
