Building society law (membership, mergers, meetings, management, transfers of business, pro-mutual strategies) – Abbey National BS v BSC [1989] (conversion to Plc); C&G v BSC [1994] (conversion to Plc); BSC v Halifax [1995] (conversion to Plc). Charities, friendly societies, co-operative and community benefit societies, clubs and associations – Peggs v Lamb [1994] (charities).
