Barrister practising in: common law, crime: rape and serious sexual offences, fraud and serious driving offences. Specialising in video testimony of victims and defendants, particularly children. Some aspects of regulatory work especially factory accidents (prosecution and defence) and food safety (defence). Notable recent cases: lead counsel in Goldfinch and Flight. Prosecutions: historic cases involving children’s homes in Wales. Leading junior in Prosecution of BP/Safeways Fraud (£1.5m) defended successfully. Ex-leader of Monmouthshire CC on fraud allegations. Grade 4 Prosecutor. Leading cases: R v Hemmings & ors [2001] WLR 661; R v Ismail & ors 1992 CAR 2000 1 CrAppR 360. Organiser and speaker at Wales and Chester Continuous Professional Development Seminars.
