Position

Ben is a highly experienced Junior who practises in all aspects of criminal and quasi-criminal litigation. He is also a specialist in extradition proceedings. Ben has conducted cases at all levels, including twice before the Supreme Court. He is extremely thorough and well prepared. His written work is of the highest quality. Ben has a great deal of experience of dealing with difficult cases, often involving vulnerable clients and witnesses. He is a modern barrister: unflappable and unassuming in his approach and is an extremely effective advocate.

Recent cases include: HH and PH v Deputy Prosecutor of the Italian Republic, Genoa and F-K v Polish Judicial Authority (the leading authorities on the application of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights in extradition proceedings); Re A (instructed by the FTSE 100 company in relation to allegations of bribery and corruption).
