Position

Defend and prosecute across the criminal spectre, including fraud and corruption. Examples of cases of note include R V NJ 2014 (Blakelock murder –defending); R v Robinson [2011] 1 Cr App. R (S) 127 CA; (sentencing single punch manslaughter); R v Miah & Choudhury [2011] Crim L.R 662 CA (Stockwell shooting); R v Braithwaite [2010] EWCA Crim 1082 CA.(Bad character); Inland Revenue Commissioners v Kingston Crown Court [2001] 4 All ER 721 [2001] EWHC Admin 581(dismissal in case based on documentary evidence). Advisory work for regulatory and prosecution authorities and the Attorney General. Have acted as a legal advisor to the Care Council and been a member of the Bar Conduct Disciplinary Tribunals.

Chair of Board - Ekaya HA– [Current] Race Relations Committee. In 2002, on behalf of the RRC presented at the American Bar Association in Washington D.C Bar Council – Professional Conduct and Complaints Committee [2002-2008] Memberships held: CBA, Member of Bar Council group formed to draft a response to the Government White Paper on proposed changes to the law of bribery. [2009-10].
