Position

Barrister specialising in all aspects of litigation (court, arbitration and adjudication) concerning construction, civil engineering law, IT projects and related professional negligence, both domestic and international. In recent years he has been involved in claims arising from: Crossrail; desalination plant in Qatar; ferry terminal in Jordan; gold mining in Burkina Faso; chlorine manufacture; hydrocrackers; flooding in the Greenwich Millennium Village; the Magna Park fire; the London Underground transmission and radio upgrade project (including Oystercard); a claim concerning turbine design for a nuclear power station; the Chancery Lane Tube derailment in January 2003; the Gerrard’s Cross tunnel collapse; claims arising on the Wembley Stadium steelwork; bond and defects claims concerning the design and manufacture of a new commuter train; tunnelling disputes; wind turbine manufacturing defects offshore and onshore; North Sea gas extraction; construction of a desalination facility in Qatar; and nuclear decontamination.
