Health and safety - experience prosecuting and defending cases of health and safety in the criminal courts and of civil litigation arising out of accidents. Instructed as a junior in the health and safety prosecution arising out of the explosion at the Buncefield Oil Depot. Also instructed as a junior for the defendant in a health and safety prosecution for breaches of fire safety regulations. Commercial - regularly acts for commercial clients, in particular in consumer credit cases and in contractual disputes. In 2008 instructed as a junior in commercial court case (value approx £50m), professional negligence. Property - regularly instructed on behalf of private and social landlords in possession claims, injunction applications and antisocial behaviour matters. Employment - regularly instructed in employment tribunal claims for unfair dismissal and/or discrimination. Personal injury - advises, drafts and represents clients in personal injury claims arising out of accidents in the workplace and elsewhere.
