Position
Bridget has a broad practice spanning commercial and chancery litigation and arbitration. She has acted in company and insolvency proceedings, including joint venture and shareholder disputes, misfeasance proceedings, directors’ duties, disqualification proceedings, receivership, winding up and asset recovery. She also advises in connection with regulatory proceedings arising in the context of financial services. She undertakes civil fraud work and has recently acted on urgent injunction and disclosure applications and in asset recovery proceedings. She recently acted in ING Lease (UK) Ltd v Philip Ross Harwood (estoppel and collateral contract in bank guarantee claims). She has also been instructed in substantial international and domestic arbitrations and has recently appeared for mink farmers in their compensation claims against DEFRA. In the area of insurance and reinsurance, she has appeared in cases involving D&O cover and the Bermuda form and has recently acted in cases relating to substantial product liability claims in the US.
