Position
Ashraf has a national practice which includes a case load of some of the biggest and most complex criminal cases in recent times. He has experience in a wide range of criminal matters, including homicide and large scale organised crime, involving human/drug trafficking, money laundering, firearms and serious fraud. Beyond his call, Ashraf has developed an impressive criminal practice appearing in an array of cases from murder, through to sexual offences, human/drug trafficking and money laundering. Ashraf is described as a fluent and eloquent advocate and so is a popular choice for handling complex fraud cases. As well as fraud work, Ashraf also has vast experience in corporate crime and regulatory work. He has appeared at VAT tribunals on behalf of individuals and companies and is involved in a number of high-profile cases involving allegations of dishonesty against companies/directors money laundering and corruption. Ashraf is approved to appear on behalf of the General Medical Council and the General Social Care Council.
