Position
Charles Ciumei has a diverse practice covering employment and commercial law with a focus on employment law. Particular expertise in the following areas: restraint of trade (restrictive covenants); unfair and wrongful dismissal; bonus claims; discrimination; whistleblowing claims; transfer of undertakings (TUPE); industrial relations and trade unions, especially injunctions relating to strike action; confidential information and business secrets disputes and injunctions (both in an employment context and in business-to-business disputes); breach of fiduciary duties, diversion of corporate opportunities by directors and senior management and commercial fraud; jurisdictional disputes;contractual disputes; advising and acting in cases involving share sale agreements. He has considerable experience inthe banking and financial employment sectors, including acting for a large variety of financial institutions. He has also appeared in a number of cases before the Administrative Tribunal of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, which is governed by international administrative law.
