Position
Barrister specialising in professional negligence, insurance and chancery-related work. The mainstay of Helen’s practice involves claims against lawyers, financial professionals (including accountants and IFAs) and valuers. Helen has particular expertise in lawyers’ liability claims involving underlying employment and family matters as well as a range of property issues (including large scale frauds). Helen also has experience of a wide variety of insurance disputes. Helen’s reported cases include Axa Insurance Ltd v Akther & Darby Solicitors [2010] 1 WLR 1662 in the Court of Appeal.
