Position

Alan Fuller is a specialist advocate dealing with regulatory crime. His experience and expertise has been consistently acknowledged in ‘The Legal 500’ directory, where he is listed amongst a handful of such specialists on the Western Circuit. He has built on his extensive experience in the criminal courts to provide an expert advisory and advocacy service tailored to the needs of those working in this field. His approachable and accessible style makes him first choice for many Local Authorities dealing with complex and novel cases. He has also been appointed to the approved list of Specialist Regulatory Advocates in Health and Safety and Environmental Law (list B). Alan is also a CPS panel advocate (level 3). Alan’s experience broadly covers Trading Standards, health and safety, food safety, health and social care, environmental law and licensing. He regularly acts in cases involving the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations and Trade Mark Act, receiving instructions on behalf of Trading Standards Departments across the South West and beyond. Alan continues to prosecute and defend in the areas of financial and white-collar crime, including complex cases of benefit fraud and fraudulent trading.
