Partner in the Nottingham criminal defence department. Undertakes all areas of criminal defence work, including representation in police stations, Magistrates Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal. Accredited High Courts Advocate (criminal). Prosecutes for Royal Mail and Probation Service. Important cases include R v Price (manslaughter of young child by mother with Munchausen’s Syndrome by Proxy) and R v Frith (Court of Appeal; theft in breach of trust). Formerly lecturer for Central Law Training. Representation for prisoners before adjudications and discretionary lifer panels.
