For several years, Jens Krogh Petersen has been involved in the sale and purchase of enterprises (M&A), including for private equity funds, for Danish as well as international clients. In this connection, he has also assisted a number of Danish and international enterprises and banks in the financing of transfers and other kinds of financing. Jens has vast experience in managing and driving major transactions forward, including mergers and acquisitions, large investments in enterprises and restructurings. In addition, he has, for a number of years, advised Danish and international clients on agreements relating to assignment of rights, in particular within the music, film and TV industry (media and entertainment). Jens is ranked with a number of ranking institutions, including Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal.

Other noteworthy individuals include Karsten Pedersen, who assisted Adelis Equity with its divestment of IT Relation to HgCapital; Michael Vinther, who advised Artha and the management of Umove on the divestment of Umove to Cube Infrastructure Fund II; Sebastian Ingversen, who handled TDC's acquisition of shares in Plenti; and Jan Snogdal, who advised the owner of Arcane Tinmen on its divestment of shares to Eli Global. The firm recently merged with Delacour and has added Eskil Bielefeldt, Per Buttenschøn and Kristian Hjølund Nielsen  to the team.

Recent highlights include team head Jens Krogh Petersen assisting Danish rock band Volbeat with its agreements with music management group, Q Prime; and Joachim Kundert Jensen advising Danish popstar Christopher on his management change, and also handling Gulddreng's contract renewal with Universal Music.

  • Sentencing guidelines for corporate manslaughter

    In February 2010 the Sentencing Guidelines Council (the SGC) issued definitive guidelines to courts on imposing appropriate sentences for corporate manslaughter and health and safety offences causing death. The SGC states that fines imposed on companies found guilty of corporate manslaughter should not fall below £500,000, while fines in respect of health and safety offences that are a significant cause of death should be at least £100,000. Crucially, the SGC declined to provide for a fixed link between the imposed fine and the turnover or profitability of the offending company.
