Within: Oil and gas

The sizeable global oil and gas practice at Dentons has a historic strength in emerging markets such as Africa, South America and the Middle East and recently bolstered its domestic presence through its merger with Scottish firm Maclay, Murray & Spens. Danielle Beggs and David Tennant - who jointly head the UK team - recently acted for the trading arm of a major gas producer in its entry into a gas sales and terminal agreement for the largest greenfield LNG-to-power project in Africa, and Alistair Black advised Pertamina on its first joint venture agreement with Rosneft to develop the new Tuban refining and petrochemical complex in East Java. Other key names include James Dallas who recently assisted the Government of Mozambique with the development of LNG export projects, and Charles Wood who has strong experience in regulatory mandates and upstream commercial issues. Among the firm's many recent new clients feature Vitol, Gazprom Neft and Cadent Gas.
