Position

Ross Docksey is a member and past global Co-Chairman of Dentons' Corporate Practice. His practice focuses on outsourcing, technology contracting, the formation of strategic alliances and joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Ross represents public and private companies in connection with domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and dispositions in a wide variety of industries.

Ross was founding chairman of the Global Technology and Outsourcing Group of Lex Mundi and a founding member of the Human Resources Outsourcing Association. He has served on the program faculty at (i) the Advanced Computer Law Institute, Georgetown University Law Center; (ii) Successful Outsourcing and Offshoring Strategies, Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, and (iii) the Institute for Strategic Supply, San Diego State University. He is a member of the board of directors of Daubert Industries, Inc., Daubert Chemical Company, Inc., Daubert VCI, Inc., ECP Incorporated, Rytec Corporation, and the USO of Illinois. He served for eight years as a member of the Advisory Board of the Sourcing Interests Group, for seven years as President of the West Point Society of Chicago, and for two years as Chairman and CEO of the USO of Illinois.

Ross Docksey in Chicago leads the practice at Dentons, which has a long track record in ITO, BPO, human resources outsourcing (HRO) and facilities management deals. Carol Anne Been is also recommended. A key deal for Docksey in 2017 saw him advise motor vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland on the establishment and operation of its affiliate Hinduja Technology, which provides IT outsourcing services to US companies in the automotive sector and other industries. The firm advises both buy-side clients and service providers.
