Position

Health systems, hospitals, and pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturers routinely seek Mr. Weinreich's counsel with respect to complex challenges and strategic initiatives. Mr. Weinreich routinely (i) counsels clients regarding fraud and abuse, alleged overpayment, and regulatory compliance matters, (ii) defends against sensitive government and whistleblower enforcement actions, (iii) conducts internal investigations and compliance audits, and (iv) successfully develops and implements voluntary self-disclosure strategies.

Career

Gadi serves on the Dentons' Global Advisory Committee and its US Policy and Planning Board. He has won recognition both for his substantive expertise (e.g., Chambers USA, Healthcare "band one") and exceptional client service (e.g., BTI/Fortune 1000, Client Service Allstar Award 2011, 2013 and 2014). As the principal author of the leading treatise on the federal physician self-referral law (commonly referred to as the "Stark Law"), Mr. Weinreich is widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities on the Stark Law, its cousin, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and their interplay with the federal False Claims Act. Chambers 2014 describes him as "very engaging, smart, innovative and creative," and reports that "nobody knows [the] Stark Law better than he does."
