Position

Pier Francesco Faggiano is a partner in Dentons’ Milan office.

Pier Francesco focuses on private equity, M&A, joint ventures and other corporate transactions. He also gained consolidated experience in corporate governance matters.

His clients include Italian and pan-European investment funds, financial institutions as well as national and multinational industrial groups.

Career

Pier Francesco Faggiano joined Dentons from the international law firm DLA Piper. He has been a Dentons’ partner since the opening of the Milan office in October 2015.

Dentons is regularly involved in cross-border transactions.  Recent strategic deals include the team advising Johnson & Johnson on the Italian aspects of its global sale of business unit Codman Neurosurgery to US company Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation; and advice to KKR-backed Calsonic Kansei on the Italian aspects of the agreement by its holding company, CK Holdings, to acquire Magneti Marelli, the automotive components business of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Recommended are Alessandro Dubini, Luca Pocobelli, Pier Francesco Faggiano, of counsel Aian Abbas and Barbara Urselli, who was promoted to partner in March 2019; the China desk in Italy is co-headed by Junyi Bai, who joined from Giovannelli e Associati Studio Legale, and counsel Claudio Giammarino. Carsten Steinhauer was a new arrival in January 2019 from McDermott Will & Emery Studio Legale Associato. Former corporate and M&A and private equity head Stefano Speroni left the firm for an in-house role at ENI in January 2019.
