Position

Michal Hink is Partner and Co-Head of the Real Estate Practice Group in Dentons’ Prague office. He is experienced particularly in property and finance transactions, especially with respect to mergers and acquisitions and their financing, due diligence process and real estate acquisitions. Michal has also an extensive experience and is widely recognized on the market for his expertise in asset management / leasing work, especially within the industrial and retail sector.

He has worked as a lead lawyer on number of transactions not only in the Czech Republic, but also across Central and Eastern Europe.

Career

Michal joined Dentons Prague (formerly Salans) in 2004. Between 1998 and 2004 he worked as Legal clerk and Associate with Weil, Gotshal & Manges in Prague.

Dentons handles acquisitions, disposals, financings, asset management, environmental law and property litigation. The team advised CPI Property Group on its acquisition and refinancing of a portfolio of 11 retail properties from CBRE Global Investors, including six major shopping centres in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Romania. The team also advised Starwood Capital Group on its sale of The Park, an office complex in Prague, to Deka Immobilien. Jiří Stržínek and Michal Hink jointly head the team in Prague. Head of CEE real estate Stewart Middleman, co-chair of the global real estate group Evan Lazar and counsel Markéta Tvrdá are also recommended.
