Career

Laurence McCaughan is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group of Dentons’ Montréal office. Her growing practice includes civil and commercial litigation in various sectors such as commercial law and construction law. She also has a particular interest in bankrupcty and insolvency.

During her studies in law, Laurence held various positions, including research assistant to Professor Raymonde Crête. In this capacity, she contributed to the update of a book on corporation law. She was also analysis assistant at the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy of Canada, where she ensured compliance with the law in problematic bankruptcy cases.

Laurence first joined Dentons as a student, articled there and was called to the Québec Bar in 2018.
