Career

Marianne Bastille-Parent is an associate in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in Montréal. Her practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation, as well as on issues relating to free trade agreements (particularly in the context of public procurement).


Prior to completing the Barreau du Québec training, Marianne earned a Master of International Commercial Law at Cambridge University in England, and was awarded The Right Honourable Paul Martin Bursary Scholarship by the Canadian Institute for Advanced Legal Studies. Marianne also completed the Arbitration Academy’s summer program in Paris, with a concentration in arbitration-related to foreign investments.


During her undergraduate studies in law, Marianne participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, worked as research assistant in foreign direct investments law, and has been involved with Lawyers Without Borders and Pro Bono Students Canada.
