Highlights included advising Telefónica UK on a £20m dispute against Packet Media and representing Burton’s Foods in a business interruption claim against Barratt Homes relating to flooding caused to its factory following the development of adjacent land by Barratt.  Derwent Holdings, Crown Paints and Iceland Foods are also clients. Department head Andrew Whalley is ‘very committed and has a great manner with clients’; he also leads the firm’s telecoms sector group. other key figures include Graham Dagnall , who specialises in corporate and commercial litigation and has particular expertise in disputes in the food and professional services sectors; Matthew Stoll , who is head of the insured litigation practice group; and director Chris King is ‘tactically brilliant’.
