Position
Partner, Rachel, heads up Beachcroft’s highly-regarded clinical negligence department in Bristol. Rachel has been engaged in health work since 1996. She advises health bodies, primarily health insurance bodies, but also NHS Trusts and private health care providers on all aspects of clinical negligence claims and risk management. Rachel specialises in handling a wide range of clinical claims, with particular expertise in high value, multiple defendant, and birth injury claims. In terms of group action experience, Rachel, acted for the NFU in respect of the Organophosphate Litigation. Rachel is actively involved in the training of lawyers and leads in the Bristol internal quality-assurance agenda ensuring that Beachcroft delivers on KPIs for all its clients including the NHS Litigation Authority and the Medical Defence Union.
