DAC Beachcroft LLP's ‘excellent’ and ‘commercially minded’ team ‘inspires confidence’ with its ‘prompt and effective advice’, and for its ability to ‘deliver expert advice within extremely challenging time frames and on particularly complex projects’. The team handles a wide range of contentious and non-contentious construction work for an equally diverse client base consisting of housebuilders, insurance companies, public sector clients, contractors and renewable energy companies. On the non-contentious side, James Harrison (who ‘provides sound and practical advice in a user-friendly manner’) routinely assists clients with all forms of build contracts, supply chain contracts and ancillary documentation; he recently advised the LTE Group on a number of projects including the refurbishment of existing buildings, a new build at its existing Openshaw campus site and a campus development. Warren Kemp (an ‘excellent adviser and litigator’) is the main contact for contentious work. Roddy Gordon and Stephen McLellan are other key members of the team.
