Tracey is a partner in the healthcare regulatory team and also a member of the firm’s SHE (safety, health and environment) team. She specialises in advising clients on a broad range of health and safety and regulatory issues. Tracey is a solicitor advocate with rights of audience in all higher courts. As a criminal solicitor, she has extensive experience of defending both private and public sector clients in criminal proceedings and in PACE interviews. Tracey provides advice to clients who are subject to investigation by the Police for corporate manslaughter and by the Health and Safety Executive for breaches of health and safety legislation. She also has experience of defending proceedings brought by other regulatory authorities including the Environment Agency and Trading Standards. Tracey regularly provides training to board members and health and safety managers on dealing with adverse incidents, health and safety legislation and corporate manslaughter. Tracey has represented healthcare professionals and companies at inquests and has provided advice and support to healthcare professionals appearing as witnesses at court. Tracey has also delivered training for the Home Office to local authorities and police forces on their alcohol enforcement powers.
