Position

Managing partner and head of dispute resolution. Peter is an experienced litigator with specialist expertise in professional negligence, City regulatory and disciplinary matters, contractual and shareholder disputes, employment law and construction disputes. He acts for claimants and defendants both in the UK and overseas, including arbitration and mediations. Peter has been involved in many substantial cases in the UK and Europe and has acted for an East European Government in very substantial arbitration proceedings referred to the English Commercial Court.

Starting January 1st, 2013, a new tax law (Law No. 822, Tax Concertation Law) came into force in and completely changed the taxation system in Nicaragua. Two years later a new law was issued by the National Assembly containing more than 80 amendments, additions and repeals (Law No 891) which came into force December 18th, 2014.
