Elspeth has over 24 years’ experience in all areas of family law and has represented children and family members in a broad range of issues. She is a skilled advocate and regularly conducts hearings in the Family Court before all levels of the judiciary. She has developed particular expertise in childrens law, both public and private and regularly lectures on the subject. She is confident handling childrens cases which involve international elements. Elspeth has represented children, parents, step-parents and adopters in adoption cases and has a thorough understanding of this complex area of law, including international aspects and inter-country adoptions.
