Position
Graham is a partner and the head of education at the firm, and has extensive experience of advising the public and private sectors on Public Private Partnerships, including joint venture models for the provision of school buildings and university accommodation. He also advises nationally on academies and trust schools, where his experience spans 27 academies and trust school schemes for fourteen schools. Graham advised sponsors on the first academy to replace a trust school and the first academy to be sponsored by a registered social landlord. He has also clerked admissions appeals and advised the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust on co-sponsorship arrangements and partnering between successful and failing schools. Graham has also written for ‘The Guardian’ website, the Social Market Foundation and the Education Executive on academies, regeneration and social inclusion, and written and spoken on the implications of trust schools for PFI and Building Schools for the Future.
