Insurance/reinsurance: the insurance and reinsurance practice is a world leader, renowned for handling complex and big-ticket work. The firm’s integrated insurance and reinsurance teams provide coverage advice and defence and pursuit of subrogated recoveries in all classes of business including aviation, energy, engineering and construction, financial and professional lines, marine, product liability, property, and special risks including political and credit risk, bloodstock and fine art. The firm’s dedicated corporate insurance team handles work both in the company and Lloyds markets in the UK and overseas from M&A through regulatory and innovatory risk transfer, and policy wordings, to restructurings including part VII’s and schemes of arrangement.
