Position
A disputes partner with a particular focus on investigations and proceedings arising from antitrust, financial crime and regulatory issues. Luke’s most recent cases include the civil and criminal proceedings arising from the celebrated ‘marine hoses’ cartel case, defending a firm and individual in a criminal investigation and related civil and regulatory proceedings arising from the alleged conduct of unauthorised business, and advising a major investment bank on civil and criminal proceedings arising from the collapse of Parmalat.

Qualified in England & Wales 1998; joined Clifford Chance 2001; partner 2008.

Chair of the CBI’s working group on extradition; member of the CBI’s working group on private actions (antitrust); member of the Fraud Advisory Panel.
