Clarke Willmott LLP¬†is ‚Äėvery comparable to most of its top regional competitors‚Äô and has particular strengths in residential and commercial development and property investment transactions. On the residential side, Greg Lovett¬†advised Barrett Developments on its ¬£75m acquisition, from Heron Developments, of land holdings and contractual positions in Bristol; this marked one of the client‚Äôs largest acquisitions outside of London. Also in the development space, Laurence Lacey¬†acted for a government entity in relation to a highly publicised complex redevelopment project in the UK. Lacey also handles development mandates in the renewable energy sector. Helen Wittram¬†assisted Stonewater with a number of matters in 2017 including the negotiation and exchange of a land and building agreement with Bellway Homes involving the construction and sale of 70 affordable homes.
