Position
James is a partner and head of the primary care team. He advises on a wide range of matters affecting PCTs; his work includes advice on commissioning arrangements (including practice based commissioning), governance arrangements and performance management of contractors. His work also includes advising on the regulatory framework underpinning the provision of services by primary care contractors such as the performers lists regulations, as well as working with PCTs to manage under performing contractors through the relevant contractual frameworks. James’ work also includes representing and advising PCTs in respect of appeals to the First Tier Tribunal (previously the FHSAA) and FHSAU as well as judicial review proceedings.
