Position
Gary is a partner and head of Capsticks’ Birmingham office. He specialises in advising on employment issues at a senior management/executive level; public law; doctors disciplinaries; DDA/stress claims and equality and diversity. High-profile cases include interpretation of a collective agreement in the railway industry; a dispute over apportionment of firefighters pensions; representing the council for healthcare regulatory excellence in the High Court; judicial reviews involving the Local Government Finance Act. He is a regular speaker at seminars, focusing particularly on giving practical guidance and risk management advice, most recently having covered equality and diversity and age discrimination.
