Position
Colin is head of the commercial department and leads Capsticks’ project teams on healthcare and corporate PFI/PPP joint ventures, business restructuring and acquisitions. He also leads on the procurement and contracting aspects of major clinical service reconfigurations, such as Healthcare for London. Colin advises both public sector bodies and private sector companies and specialises in EU public procurement, deal structuring and strategic commercial advice. He has led healthcare PFI, NHS LIFT, ISTC and PPP projects to completion. Notable projects include: £220m Nottingham Queens Medical Centre ISTC; £80m Burton ISTC; £70m GSUP 1 and 2 Project Agreements; £65m acute hospital reprovision PFI; £55m community and mental health hospital; a £47m `wave 2’ NHS LIFT scheme; £45m managed equipment PFI and several healthcare industry joint ventures.
