Position

Partner specialising in criminal litigation with extensive experience in crime, defending a range of offences, including fraud and business crime, murder, sexual offences, drug trafficking and various degrees of assault. Also advises post-conviction/sentence on potential grounds and merits of appeal. Many of his cases are high-profile and his client base regularly consists of professionals, such as medical practitioners, lawyers, bankers and accountants. He also advises in investigations instigated by the various professional and regulatory bodies such as the General Medical Council and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. He has acted for well-known public figures and his practice is increasingly focused on advising television production companies, presenters and journalists in the growing field of investigative journalism. He also provides pre-production advice.
