Gabriela Rachadell de Delgado is Head of Energy Practice of InterJuris and a Foreign Legal Consultant for DLA Piper based in Miami.

Gabriela has worked extensively in the negotiation and incorporation of oil (and also condensate) joint venture companies advising foreign oil companies doing business in Venezuela. She has also advice gas companies in all bidding rounds for gas licenses. In the past she participated in the conversion process of operating and association agreements into JV companies involved in Venezuelan oil development projects. She has provided legal advice to oil and gas service companies and downstream companies, as well as infrastructure projects. She has been involved in high-profile project financing and the financing of large-scale projects with oil proceeds.

Before joining InterJuris, Mrs. Rachadell de Delgado was an international partner at a law firm based in Canada and a member of a leading Venezuelan law firm. She has also been Secretary of the Board of Directors for Sinovensa at the Golfo de Paria (West and East).

The team at InterJuris Abogados is experienced in advising clients on the full spectrum of public law matters, including constitutional law, administrative law, public procurement and regulatory matters. It works closely with the firm's energy department. Practice head Luis Ortiz Álvarez and Gabriela Rachadell de Delgado were instructed by Rosneft to assist with negotiating and obtaining a gas licence in Venezuela. The duo continues to represent Transban in an ICSID arbitration regarding exchange control issues (among others) relating to an automotive business in Venezuela.
