Securities litigation - defense

Within: Securities litigation - defense

In New York, Cohen & Gresser LLP is a smaller firm that punches above its weight in securities litigation and one clients remarks that it is 'fully on a par with, if not better than, its opponents in other firms'. Mark Cohen and Lawrence Gresser lead the practice, in which the partners are 'true litigators, focused and thoughtful - no stone is left unturned'. Together with S Gale Dick, they secured the dismissal of claims against a UK-based former analyst in Och-Ziff Capital Management’s European subsidiary in an SEC matter alleging FCPA and Investment Advisers Act violations. Gresser and Stephen Sinaiko (of whom clients remark that 'he is an expert who is fully committed to, and engaged in, cases and deals with all the issues promptly; he is clever and extremely responsive - a good man to have on your side') represented Airplanes Limited and Airplanes US Trust matters relating to contingent liabilities. C Evan StewartNathaniel Read and Daniel Tabak are also recommended.
