Martha Lorena has extensive experience in banking law, corporate law, foreign investment, real estate law, regulated sector, insurance and reinsurance.

During her career, she worked independently and particularly in banking practice, held positions in public administration as Civil Prosecutor, General Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, General Director of Registries and Notary of the State, Director of Legislative Advice of the Presidency of the Republic. Joined Taboada & Asociados since 1990, where she has held the positions of Director of Corporate, Corporate, Banking and Financial Affairs, and is currently a Partner and Executive Director of Consortium Legal in Nicaragua.

Martha Lorena Icaza has received multiple awards for her excellent performance and quality of services, including Ram Power Corp and Blue Power & Energy for her participation in the structuring and financial documentation necessary for the development of her projects.
