Position
Partner. Mr. Quintana co heads the Litigation and Criminal Defense practice areas of BMAJ.His practice focuses on Litigation, Regulation, Administrative and Constitutional Law.
Career
Mr. Quintana is member of the board to the State Defense Agency (CDE) since 2006. He was Director of the Office of Public Defense Services between 2002 and 2006, where he contributed to the implementation of the new criminal justice reform in Chile. Previously, he worked for Jara & Marin Abogados Asociados (2006 – 2011) and he was a political and legislative advisor for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2000–2002).

Bofill, Mir & Álvarez Jana distinguishes itself through its handling of International Court of Justice cases and International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) arbitration and investment treaty disputes, as well as having particular niche expertise in construction-related litigation, and mining disputes. Highlights included advising the claimants on an investor-state arbitration before ICSID regarding the expropriation of 11 mining concessions.
