Position

David specialises in EU and US anti-corruption compliance and investigations, and export control and economic sanctions regulations. He has assisted clients in investigating issues arising under the US Foreign Corrupt Practices ACT (FCPA), the UK Bribery Act, and related US and European anti-corruption laws, negotiating with enforcement authorities and developing anti-corruption compliance programs. He regularly represents clients before the major agencies responsible for export controls and economic sanctions laws and regulations, both in the US and the EU. David has also been very active is assisting clients in debarment proceedings brought by the World Bank’s Integrity Vice Presidency. David has assisted clients in export and sanctions licensing and compliance issues, with regard to various industries and products, including encryption and other computer technologies, satellites, military items and other goods and technology controlled for export for national security reasons. David has also provided representation in a range of commercial arbitrations, including sovereign disputes and commercial trade matter under the auspices of the Court of Arbitration, ICC, LCIA, as well as other major arbitral venues.
