Felipe Ossa is a partner in our Dispute Resolution and International Trade practices, and he focuses on arbitration and international litigation. Felipe has vast experience in complex disputes involving court proceedings in Chile and several other jurisdictions. He has acted as counsel in arbitrations ad-hoc and under the aegis of ICC, ICSID, ICDR, UNCITRAL, and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce. He has been appointed arbitrator by the ICC and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, and has served as expert on issues of Chilean law in proceedings before international arbitral tribunals and English and North American courts. Felipe lectures on Arbitration, International Law and Comparative Law to postgraduate students at Universidad de Chile, Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Previously he lectured on International Arbitration at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and on Civil Law at Universidad Católica de Chile. He has been repeatedly named by Chambers and Partners and Who’s Who Legal as a leading practitioner in the fields of arbitration and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Chilean Bar, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Latin American Group of the ICC, the LCIA Latin American Users Council, the International Arbitration Institute and the Spanish Arbitration Club. Felipe has authored several publications on international dispute resolution, and features regularly as a speaker in seminars and conferences held in Chile and abroad.
