The team also serves as national counsel for Ford in high-exposure product liability and wrongful death actions in various jurisdictions alleging defects in Ford vehicles, as well as representing it in asbestos litigation. For example, in 2010, it succeeded in moving to deny class certification in a putative class action pending in federal court in Maryland alleging defects in seat designs in certain Ford vehicles.
