Position
Partner and specialises in insurance law, medical law and medical malpractice. Lisa has expertise in professional negligence, product liability, public liability, construction and engineering, and the South African Consumer Protection law. Lisa conducts complex disputes for and provides advice to various commercial clients, hospital groups, members of the medical profession, pharmaceutical companies, mining entities and the insurance market.
Career
Lisa is a partner in the Insurance and Legal Liability Practice Group. She has practiced in the firm's litigation and dispute resolution team since January 1997. Lisa routinely presents talks to members of the medical profession and at hospitals on issues of medical negligence and medical law. During 2009 she presented various talks to members of the medical profession, hospital groups, the travel industry and the insurance industry on the Consumer Protection Act.
