Mary F. Voce, Chair of the firm's International Tax Practice, concentrates her practice on corporate and international tax. She handles both in-bound and out-bound corporate and international tax planning for U.S. and foreign corporations, U.S. federal taxation of partnerships, limited liability companies, funds and joint ventures. She also handles U.S. federal tax aspects of cross-border corporate mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, taxation of real estate investments, securities offerings by U.S. and foreign corporations, international projects, equipment leasing and financing.

New York’s Mary Voce heads the practice. Miami’s Seth Entin advised Southern Ports Holdings, which owns a more than 50% interest in the Colombian port operator Compañía de Puertos Asociados (Compas), on the $136.5m sale by the client’s former joint venture partner, Grupo Argos, of its remaining equity interests in Compas to investment funds managed by Goldman Sachs. Miami’s Erika Litvak and Washington DC’s Robert Simon are other names to note.

Seth Entin in Miami, Manuel Rajunov in Dallas and Noam Lipshitz in Fort Lauderdale advised Viakable on a $300m joint venture between its subsidiary Magnekon and Rea Magnet Wire Company. Entin further acted for Intec Pharma on its $57.7m public offering. Mary Voce leads the practice from her position in New York. Miami-based Ozzie Schindler, real estate taxation lawyer Kenneth Zuckerbrot in New York and transaction tax partner Robert Simon in Denver are also core team members.
