Position

Mr Miocevic is a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Venture Capital and International Funds groups. His practice has a focus on the UAE and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. As well as advising European, US and Asian corporations with respect to investments in the region, he also advises the largest regional investment banks, private equity houses and corporations on their acquisitions, disposals and other transactions within the region and internationally. Due to his knowledge and experience with the laws and regulations of the region and inparticular the UAE, he is also often required to provide general corporate advisory and corporate regulatory advice. Mr Miocevic advises the full range of industry sectors, with particular experience in logistics and supply chain management, water treatment, food and beverage, media and publishing, financial services and retail. Mr Miocevic's International Funds practice includes advising on the structuring, establishment, management and marketing of funds.

Other deals concern restructurings and cross-border investments.

At Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, Jeremy Miocevic and counsel Serena Boscia Montalbano handle ADGM and DIFC litigation, as well as arbitration. Bosicia Montalbano represented an asset management company bringing claims against an allegedly rogue company CEO. The firm also acts for a private client in a dispute with a bank over the enforcement of a guarantee following the insolvency of a restaurant.
