Briant led the BVI law advice to Major League Baseball (MLB) during a BVI company's acquisition of an MLB franchise, including assisting with issues such as the ability to transfer shares. Also highly rated is Anton Goldstein, who has particular expertise in M&A and private equity matters. The team acted for Lombard Odier Trust (Bermuda), as trustee of a large structure of BVI family trusts, on the complex restructuring and decanting of trust assets, which involved BVI corporate issues and novel classes of trust assets.
