Position

Rebecca Finn is a partner in the corporate and finance team. With experience in both developed and emerging economies, Rebecca advises clients on a wide range of cross-border finance transactions, including mainstream bank lending, project development and financing, acquisition finance, Islamic finance, and structured finance.

Rebecca's clients include conventional finance institutions, as well as multilateral and development financial institutions. She has represented borrowers and sponsors on a number of significant transactions in Europe, North and sub-Saharan Africa, China, Mongolia, Myanmar, and South East Asia.

The infrastructure team at Winston & Strawn London LLP handles 'first-of-its-kind' international projects across a range of jurisdictions under the leadership of James Simpson who co-heads the firm's global project finance outfit. Stephen Jurgenson recently transferred to London from the Dubai office and is part of the team advising Electrogas Malta on all aspects of its LNG-to-power project. Several institutional investors engaged a team spearheaded by Rebecca Finn and supported by the New York office and associate Conor Boyle to handle a private placement of non-recourse senior secured bonds with a 2.73% coupon. Also notable is of counsel Jason Parker who continues to assist a joint venture company with the development and financing of a recently-expanded petrochemical and petroleum refining complex in the Middle East.
