Winston & Strawn LLP defends employers in a range of contentious matters, including claims filed by single plaintiffs, by multiple plaintiff and in major class and collective actions. In a recent matters, Daniel Fazio has been defending Fannie Mae in a Supreme Court case alleging violations of the ADEA and Title VII. Rex Sessions is defending LVMH in several matters, including wage and hour, and discrimination cases. Joseph Torres is representing Caterpillar Inc in a disparate impact collective action age discrimination lawsuit. Abbott Laboratories, Accenture and United States Women’s National Soccer Team are also clients. In another recent highlight, Washington DC-based William Miossi represented Liberty Maritime in a dispute arising from the failure to renegotiate employee wages, benefits and other economic terms, and its disagreement with the Marine Engineers’ Beneficial Association over the need for arbitration.
