Stuart Earle - Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP

Within: Pensions

Aided by a vast array of pensions practitioners across its UK and European offices should the need arise, Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP's Cardiff team has the critical mass and degree of expertise to provide a 'very high standard of advice’ to an enviable list of private and public sector clients including Welsh Water, Cardiff Bus and Volkswagen. ‘An expert on what he does but with a real commercial edge', team head Stuart Earle excels at handling work for multinational employers and trustees of large occupational schemes and has a particular degree of specialism advising on matters within heavily regulated sectors. Earle recently advised National Grid on the structure to sectionalise the National Grid UK Pension Scheme and on the subsequent implementation of that sectionalisation. Ian Davies has vast experience across all aspects of establishing and running pension schemes; he recently acted for the trustees of the Hoover (1987) Pension Scheme on a regulated apportionment arrangement. Davies also continues to act as trustee on several schemes, including Prudential Platinum. Senior associate Collette Davies is recommended, in particular, for her pensions work within the education sector. The team was also strengthened by the recent arrival of senior associate Jen Green from Hogan Lovells International LLP.
